Through the three separate specialisation subjects of Soil Mechanics, Rock Mechanics and Hydraulic Engineering, it is oriented towards the current international development of the sub-disciplines of civil engineering. The programme follows the principle of research-led teaching. In addition to conveying in-depth subject-specific theoretical knowledge special attention is paid to conveying practical, social and media skills. In extensive laboratory and field exercises and during excursions the students will learn to develop concepts on their own and to implement them in practice.
