System-oriented thinking is the key and is taught centrally in the Systems Engineering course. The same applies to the basics of electronics and mechatronics. They form the basis on which the further course contents are based. The students have the possiblity to specialise in one field: There is a choice of three majors: Electronics, Mechatronics/Automation Technology, and Mechatronics/Robotics.
