Network Science

This study programme is only available in German. --> The PhD program in Network Science is a research-oriented program. It includes training in theoretical and computational methods and coursework on the basic notions and theories of complex networks, and hands-on experience with large datasets. Students will have the opportunity to focus on specific related fields, like mathematics, sociology, political science or environmental science. During their research work they will participate in international research projects and by the end of their PhD studies will have developed into independent researchers, with the ability to contribute to network science with analyses and empirical data models.
